Goffstown Grizzlies (Goffstown, NH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Nashua South Purple Panthers (Nashua, NH), 17-5 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nashua North for a Division I challenge on Wednesday, April 13. Goffstown will face a Titans squad coming off a 18-13 league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Nashua South falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Purple panthers travel to Exeter (Exeter, NH) to face the Blue Hawks in a Division I challenge on Wednesday, April 13. The Blue Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Exeter won 9-3 in their recent league challenge against Timberlane (Plaistow, NH)
