The Lake Central Indians softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Hobart Brickies to 1 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Lake Central improves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Indians host Portage (Portage, IN) to clash with the Indians in a Duneland game on Tuesday, April 12. The Indians come into the game with a record of 1-1. Portage lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN)

In their next game, the Brickies clash with the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies (Kouts, IN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 12. Hobart will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs & Fillies come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to South Newton (Kentland, IN).
