Texas High School Softball - Idalou bounces Shallowater

The crowd at Monday's league match between the Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX) and the visiting Shallowater Mustangs (Shallowater, TX), saw Idalou's softball squad achieve victory over Shallowater by a count of 13-2.

The Wildcats now sport a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a 3A Region I District 2 match on Friday, April 15. Idalou will face a Eagles squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Childress (Childress, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Shallowater falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Abernathy (Abernathy, TX) to face the Antelopes in a 3A Region I District 2 match on Saturday, April 23. The Antelopes go into the battle with a record of 3-3.
