The crowd at Monday's league match between the Tatum Eagles (Tatum, TX) and the visiting Jefferson Bulldogs (Jefferson, TX), saw Tatum's softball squad achieve victory over Jefferson by a count of 17-1.

The Eagles now sport a 14-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Rusk for a 3A Region II District 16 match on Friday, April 15. Tatum will face a Raiders team coming off a 2-1 league win over Troup (Troup, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 25-0.

The Bulldogs (2-13) will now prepare for their test against Harleton (Harleton, TX). The Wildcats come into the 3A Region II District 16 test with a 7-14 record. In their last test, Harleton overcame Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX), 2-0, in a league test.
