The Westford Academy Grey Ghosts softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Lowell Red Raiders to 1 in the Grey Ghosts non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Westford Academy improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Grey Ghosts host Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA) to clash with the Colonials in a Dual County Large game on Wednesday, April 13. The Colonials come into the game with a record of 0-1. Acton-Boxborough lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA)

The Red Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Lawrence (Lawrence, MA). The Lancers enter the Merrimack Valley - Conf 1 test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Lawrence by Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA), 16-3, in a non-league test.
