California High School Softball - Novato knocked off by Marin Catholic

In Monday's league contest, the Marin Catholic Wildcats (Kentfield, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Novato Hornets (Novato, CA), by a margin of 11-0.

With the triumph, Marin Catholic moves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA) to play the Red Tailed Hawks in a Marin County contest on Wednesday, April 13. The Red Tailed Hawks come into the contest with a record of 6-4. Tamalpais won 12-2 in their recent non-league contest against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA)

In their next game, the Hornets play the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons (San Anselmo, CA) in a Marin County contest, on Wednesday, April 13. Novato will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Peregrine Falcons come into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 20-3 league win over Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA).
