The Spearville Lancers softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Plainville Cardinals to 13 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Spearville moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Lancers host Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, April 14. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 3-5.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Ness City Eagles (Ness City, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 19. Plainville will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record.
