In Monday's league contest, the Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX), by a margin of 10-0.

With the triumph, Royse City moves its record to 21-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Forney (Forney, TX) to play the Jackrabbits in a 5A Region II District 13 contest on Thursday, April 14. The Jackrabbits come into the contest with a record of 14-5. Forney won 11-0 in their recent league contest against Greenville (Greenville, TX)

In their next game, the Pirates play the Crandall Pirates (Crandall, TX) in a 5A Region II District 13 contest, on Friday, April 15. Poteet will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record.
