The Belen Eagles baseball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Valencia Jaguars to 9 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles (15-5) will now prepare for their match against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans go into the 4A District 5 match with a 14-4 record. In their last match, St. Pius X ran past Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 19-0, in a league match.
The Jaguars (8-13) will now prepare for their match against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates go into the 4A District 5 match with a 17-5 record. In their last match, Grants ran past Belen (Belen, NM), 10-4, in a league match.
