In Tuesday's league game, the visiting George C. Marshall Statesmen baseball team scored a tight 6-0 victory over the McLean Highlanders.
The Statesmen (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons go into the Liberty game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Langley was overwhelmed by Wakefield (The Plains, VA), 10-2, in a non-league game.
The Highlanders (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Generals go into the Liberty game with a 1-10 record. In their last game, Washington-Liberty was overwhelmed by Meridian (Falls Church, VA), 7-4, in a non-league game.
