The Mabank Panthers baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Kaufman Lions to 5 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers (9-12) will now prepare for their match against Ford (Quinlan, TX). The Panthers go into the 4A Region II District 14 match with a 9-12 record. In their last match, Ford was edged by Canton (Canton, TX), 17-3, in a league match.
The Lions (6-6) will now prepare for their match against Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX). The go into the non-league match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, Sunnyvale tipped Ranchview (Irving, TX), 5-4, in a league match.
