The Oklahoma Union Cougars baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Nowata Ironmen to 3 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
With the win, Oklahoma Union upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Quapaw (Quapaw, OK) to encounter the Wildcats in a Lucky Seven challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 15-9.
With the defeat, Nowata falls to 5-8 on the season. The Ironmen travel to Dewey (Dewey, OK) to encounter the Bulldoggers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Bulldoggers come into the challenge with a record of 14-10. Dewey won 6-2 in their recent league challenge against Berryhill (Tulsa, OK)
