North Carolina High School Baseball - Topsail defeats Southern Alamance

April 11, 2023: Hampstead, NC 28443

The Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), 9-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 12. Topsail will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Havelock (Havelock, NC).

With the defeat, Southern Alamance falls to 8-8 on the season. The Patriots travel to South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. South Brunswick lost 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Person (Roxboro, NC)
