Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT), 9-8 in a league battle.

The Thunder now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lone Peak for a 6A Region 4 battle on Thursday, April 13. Westlake will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 17-9 league win over Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.

In their next game, the Cavemen clash with the Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) in a 6A Region 4 battle, on Thursday, April 13. American Fork will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 10-5 league win over Skyridge (Lehi, UT).
