The Franklin County Wildcats got by the host East Central Trojans baseball team by a count of 18-17 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Connersville for a bout on Thursday, April 13. Franklin County will face a Spartans team coming off a 15-10 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 2-3.
Next, the Trojans face the Batesville Bulldogs (Batesville, IN) in a bout, on Thursday, April 13. East Central will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 5-2 league win over East Central (St. Leon, IN).
