The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes routed the host Espanola Valley Sundevils softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Elks/Elkettes (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos go into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Moriarty was routed by Taos (Taos, NM), 20-2, in a non-league battle.
The Sundevils now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Los Alamos for a non-league battle on Friday, April 14. Espanola Valley will meet a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 18-3 non-league win over Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 8-3.
