The Largo Packers (Largo, FL) softball nipped the visiting Boca Ciega Pirates (Gulfport, FL), 14-13 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Packers (3-10) will now prepare for their bout against Hollins (St. Petersburg, FL). The Royals go into the non-league bout with a 5-7 record. In their last bout, Hollins held off Tarpon Springs (Tarpon Springs, FL), 21-2, in a non-league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to St. Petersburg for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 13. Boca Ciega will confront a Green Devils squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Northeast (St. Petersburg, FL). The Green Devils record now stands at 12-4.
