The Brazoswood Buccaneers (Clute, TX) softball routed the visiting Dickinson Gators (Dickinson, TX), 5-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Buccaneers (23-5) will now prepare for their bout against Clear Falls (League City, TX). The Knights enter the 6A Region III District 24 challenge with a 8-18 record. In their last challenge, Clear Falls was routed by Dickinson (Dickinson, TX), 11-3, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Dickinson falls to 18-9 on the campaign. The Gators host Clear Lake (Houston, TX) to battle the Falcons in a 6A Region III District 24 challenge on Friday, April 14. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 12-11. Clear Lake lost 10-3 in their recent league challenge against Clear Springs (League City, TX)
