The Calhoun Sandcrabs softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Orange Grove Bulldogs to 0 in the Sandcrabs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Calhoun moves its record to 16-9 on the year. The Sandcrabs travel to Sinton (Sinton, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a 4A Region IV District 30 game on Friday, April 14. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 17-15. Sinton won 5-0 in their recent league game against Jones (Beeville, TX)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Ingleside Mustangs (Ingleside, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 30 game, on Friday, April 14. Orange Grove will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 13-8 record after their 6-2 league loss to Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX).
