Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting King Wolves (Riverside, CA), 21-17 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santiago for a Big VIII challenge on Thursday, April 13. Centennial will face a Sharks squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Norco (Norco, CA). The Sharks record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, King falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Wolves host Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA) to face the Mustangs in a Big VIII challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 13-4. Roosevelt won 8-1 in their recent league challenge against Corona (Corona, CA)
