Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 22-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cleburne for a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, April 14. Centennial will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Burleson (Burleson, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 15-11.

With the loss, Seguin falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Cougars host Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX) to battle the Jaguars in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, April 14. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 16-10. Midlothian Heritage won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX)
