The Hoover Huskies softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Chapmanville Regional Tigers to 8 in the Huskies league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Hoover moves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Huskies travel to Nitro (Nitro, WV) to play the Wildcats in a Cardinal game on Wednesday, April 12. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 8-8. Nitro lost 23-19 in their recent non-league game against Ripley (Ripley, WV)
In their next game, the Tigers play the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) in a Cardinal game, on Wednesday, April 12. Chapmanville Regional will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Skyhawks come into the game with a 10-5 record after their 11-2 league win over Poca (Poca, WV).
