The Cherokee Indians softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Red Bay Tigers to 2 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Cherokee moves its record to 14-14 on the year. The Indians travel to Waterloo (Waterloo, AL) to clash with the Cougars in a 1A Area 16 game on Thursday, April 13. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 4-2. Waterloo lost 7-6 in their recent non-league game against Colbert County (Leighton, AL)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Winston County Yellowjackets (Double Springs, AL) in a 2A Area 13 game, on Thursday, April 20. Red Bay will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record.
