The Grand Saline Indians got by the visiting Chisum Mustangs softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Indians (18-11) will now prepare for their battle against Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Buffaloes go into the 3A Region II District 12 battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Lone Oak was edged by Edgewood (Edgewood, TX), 11-1, in a league battle.

The Mustangs now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Commerce for a 3A Region II District 12 battle on Saturday, April 15. Chisum will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 14-1 league loss to Prairiland (Pattonville, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-13.
