Henrietta Bearcats (Henrietta, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting City View Mustangs (Wichita Falls, TX), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jacksboro for a 3A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, April 14. Henrietta will face a Tigers squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Vernon (Vernon, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 21-10.

With the loss, City View falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Holliday (Holliday, TX) to face the Eagles in a 3A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, April 14. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 19-1. Holliday won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Vernon (Vernon, TX)
