The Shepherd Pirates softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Crockett Bulldogs to 1 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Shepherd moves its record to 12-4 on the year. The Pirates travel to Tarkington (Cleveland, TX) to clash with the Longhorns in a 3A Region III District 23 game on Tuesday, April 18. The Longhorns come into the game with a record of 11-16.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 game, on Tuesday, April 18. Crockett will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record.
