The Dayton Broncos softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Nacogdoches Dragons to 0 in the Broncos league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Dayton improves its record to 14-15 on the year. The Broncos travel to Lufkin (Lufkin, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 5A Region II District 16 game on Friday, April 14. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 15-13. Lufkin lost 11-1 in their recent league game against Porter (Porter, TX)

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 game, on Friday, April 14. Nacogdoches will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 20-10 record after their 4-1 league win over Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX).
