The Dixon Rams softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Mesa Verde Mavericks to 0 in the Rams league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Dixon improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Rams host Clovis West (Fresno, CA) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, April 13. The Golden Eagles come into the game with a record of 5-4. Clovis West lost 5-0 in their recent league game against Clovis North (Fresno, CA)

In their next game, the Mavericks clash with the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) in a Golden Empire League game, on Wednesday, April 12. Mesa Verde will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 5-4 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Washington Union (Fresno, CA).
