The Providence Catholic Celtics softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Fenwick Friars to 5 in the Celtics league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Providence Catholic improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Celtics travel to Lockport (Lockport, IL) to clash with the Porters in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 12. The Porters come into the game with a record of 10-3. Lockport won 7-6 in their recent league game against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL)

In their next game, the Friars clash with the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) in a GCAC- Red game, on Thursday, April 13. Fenwick will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Mighty Macs come into the game with a 5-5 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL).
