The George County Rebels softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Oak Grove Warriors to 2 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, George County moves its record to 20-3 on the year. The Rebels travel to Gautier (Gautier, MS) to clash with the Gators in a 5A Region 8 game on Wednesday, April 12. The Gators come into the game with a record of 0-11. Gautier lost 11-1 in their recent league game against East Central (Moss Point, MS)
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Taylorsville Tartars (Taylorsville, MS) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 13. Oak Grove will attempt to move on its 7-13 season record. The Tartars come into the game with a 2-8 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Mize (Mize, MS).
