Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Goliad Tigers (Goliad, TX) and the visiting Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX), witnessed Goliad's softball squad tip Taft by a count of 7-5.

The Tigers now sport a 10-16 record. They play next when they host George West for a 3A Region IV District 29 battle on Friday, April 14. Goliad will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 5-16.

The Greyhounds now possess a 17-8 record. They play next when they travel to Odem for a 3A Region IV District 29 battle on Friday, April 14. Taft will meet a Owls squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Mathis (Mathis, TX). The Owls record now stands at 13-15.
