The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL) and the host Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL), saw Harvard's softball squad nip Woodstock North by a count of 5-2.

The Hornets now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richmond-Burton for a Kishwaukee River match on Wednesday, April 12. Harvard will face a Rockets squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Marengo (Marengo, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Woodstock North falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL) to face the Wolves in a non-league match on Friday, April 21. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 4-2.
