In Tuesday's league contest, the Hawkins Hawks (Hawkins, TX) softball team held off the visiting Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Hawkins moves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, April 14. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 2-5. Big Sandy won 7-4 in their recent non-league contest against Overton (Overton, TX)
