New Mexico High School Softball - St. Pius X bounces Highland

The St. Pius X Sartans routed the visiting Highland Hornets softball squad by a final score of 18-1 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Sartans (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles go into the 4A District 5 battle with a 11-10 record. In their last battle, Belen was routed by Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 6-3, in a league battle.
The Hornets now possess a 0-20 record. They play next when they travel to Belen for a 4A District 5 battle on Tuesday, April 18. Highland will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 7-4 league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 11-11.
