Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX), 10-7 in a league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 17-12 record. They take the field next when they host New Braunfels for a 6A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, April 14. Judson will battle a Unicorns squad coming off a 14-1 league win over San Marcos (San Marcos, TX). The Unicorns record now stands at 16-13.

With the loss, Steele falls to 12-10 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Clemens (Schertz, TX) to battle the Buffaloes in a 6A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, April 14. The Buffaloes enter the challenge with a record of 17-8. Clemens lost 4-2 in their recent league game against East Central (San Antonio, TX)
