The Lakewood Rangers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Valley Forge Patriots to 2 in the Rangers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Lakewood improves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Rangers host North (Eastlake, OH) to clash with the Rangers in a non-league game on Thursday, April 13. The Rangers come into the game with a record of 6-1. North won 12-2 in their recent league game against Mayfield (Mayfield, OH)

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Elyria Catholic Panthers (Elyria, OH) in a Great Lakes game, on Thursday, April 13. Valley Forge will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Steele (Amherst, OH).
