Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westmoreland for a Northern Neck challenge on Thursday, April 13. Rappahannock will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Lancaster falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Red devils host Essex (Tappahannock, VA) to battle the Trojans in a Northern Neck challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 8-0. Essex won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA)
