Virginia High School Softball - Langley can't get by Wakefield

The Wakefield Fighting Owls softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Langley Saxons to 10 in the Fighting Owls non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Wakefield moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Fighting Owls travel to Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA) to play the Bruins in a non-league game on Thursday, April 13. The Bruins come into the game with a record of 4-2. Forest Park won 11-4 in their recent league game against Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA)
In their next game, the Saxons play the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) in a Liberty game, on Wednesday, April 12. Langley will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record.
