In Tuesday's league contest, the Moody Blue Devils (Moody, AL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Leeds Greenwave (Leeds, AL), by a margin of 12-4.
With the triumph, Moody moves its record to 19-9 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to St. Clair County (Odenville, AL) to play the Fighting Saints in a 6A Area 9 contest on Tuesday, April 18. The Fighting Saints come into the contest with a record of 3-9.
In their next game, the Greenwave play the Pinson Valley Indians (Pinson, AL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 12. Leeds will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record.
