Pass Christian Pirates (Pass Christian, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Moss Point Tigers (Moss Point, MS), 12-1 in a league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 5-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stone for a 4A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, April 13. Pass Christian will face a Tomcats squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Greene County (Leakesville, MS). The Tomcats record now stands at 7-11.
With the loss, Moss Point falls to 3-8 on the campaign.
