In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Pyramid Lake Lakers softball team scored a close 9-8 win over the Oasis Academy Bighorns.

Coming up next, the Lakers battle the Non Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 14. Pyramid Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record.

The Bighorns (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Serpents enter the 1A Northern outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Mineral County was tipped by Smith Valley (Smith, NV), 25-7, in a league outing.
