California High School Softball - Ponderosa bounces Placer

The Ponderosa Bruins routed the host Placer Hillmen softball squad by a final score of 17-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Bruins (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings go into the Foothill Valley League battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Oakmont topped Wheatland (Wheatland, CA), 7-3, in a non-league battle.

The Hillmen now possess a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a Foothill Valley League battle on Thursday, April 13. Placer will meet a Fighting Zebras squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 2-6.
