Mississippi High School Softball - Wesson bounces Port Gibson

Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS), 20-1 in a league challenge.
The Cobras now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin County for a 3A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, April 13. Wesson will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Lawrence County (Monticello, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Port Gibson falls to 0-2 on the campaign.
