The Stanton County Trojans (Johnson, KS) softball routed the visiting Southwestern Heights Mustangs (Kismet, KS), 17-10 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Trojans (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Holcomb (Holcomb, KS). The Longhorns go into the non-league bout with a 7-1 record. In their last bout, Holcomb held off Scott (Scott City, KS), 6-1, in a league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Spearville for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 13. Southwestern Heights will confront a Lancers squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Plainville (Plainville, KS). The Lancers record now stands at 7-1.
