Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Rangers now own a 14-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Round Rock for a 6A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, April 14. Vista Ridge will battle a Dragons squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 18-8.

With the loss, Vandegrift falls to 7-16 on the campaign.
