The Wilmington Greyhounds softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host West Middlesex Big Reds to 0 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Wilmington moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Greyhounds host Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a District 10 Region 1 game on Thursday, April 13. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 4-3. Sharpsville won 23-0 in their recent league game against Farrell (Farrell, PA)

Next up, the Big Reds meet the Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 12. West Middlesex will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans go into the battle with a 1-6 record after their 12-2 non-league win over St. John (Ashtabula, OH).
