In Thursday's league challenge, the Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA) baseball squad nipped the visiting Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), by a margin of 3-2.

With the win, Holy Redeemer betters its record to 3-2 on the season. The Royals host Valley View (Archbald, PA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Valley View lost 10-7 in their recent league challenge against Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA)

With the defeat, Greater Nanticoke Area falls to 2-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to West Scranton (Scranton, PA) to encounter the Invaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. The Invaders come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. West Scranton lost 14-7 in their recent league challenge against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA)
