The Long Branch Green Wave volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Asbury Park Bishops to 1 in the Green Wave league victory on Thursday.

The Green Wave now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colts Neck for a non-league game on Friday, April 12. Long Branch will meet a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Howell (Farmingdale, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.

The Bishops (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Hornets enter the Shore - B North game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Holmdel nipped Wall Township (Wall, NJ), 2-0, in a league game.
