The Payne Tech Lions topped the visiting Barringer Blue Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lions now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montclair for a non-league test on Friday, April 12. Payne Tech will confront a Mounties team coming off a 2-0 league win over Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Mounties record now stands at 4-0.

The Blue Bears (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Irvington (Irvington, NJ). The Blue Knights enter the SEC - Liberty test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Irvington was knocked off by Orange (Orange, NJ), 2-0, in a league test.
