Illinois High School Volleyball - St. Edward Bishop McNamara

In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Edward Green Wave.

The Fightin' Irish (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Glenbrook North lost by New Trier (Winnetka, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Green Wave clash with the Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 12. St. Edward will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Broncos come into the battle with a 2-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL).
